All pharmaceutical companies in the UK operate within a series of regulations, which set the standards for advertising and promotion of prescription-only medicines. These regulations are set out in the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice.

DesignDriveData supports the Code and, with over 10 years as a final Code signatory, have significant experience operating within the guidelines it sets out.

The Code of Practice aims to ensure that pharmaceutical companies operate in a responsible, ethical and professional manner. It defines what information pharmaceutical companies can provide to healthcare professionals, who may prescribe its medicines to patients, and what information they can offer to members of the public.
